To build a complete battery energy storage system, a qualified inverter is very important. Before choosing an inverter, you will confirm the system you want to build.
Off-grid or on-grid. An off-grid system is a system for local use only. If the battery system is fully charged, the grid-connected system will sell the electricity to the grid.
Then, for ordinary users, you will choose a 48v hybrid inverter. Remember that it should support lithium-ion batteries. The charging voltage can be set to 54 volts or 58 volts.
The last thing is the communication protocol. RS485 or CAN. Make sure it communicates with the battery BMS system. Check with the battery supplier whether the BMS can support your inverter in terms of communication.
