How to choose the right UPS power supply?

Choosing a suitable UPS power supply must first determine three points:

1. What equipment do you need to use? Is there a motor in the equipment?
2. What is the power of your equipment? What is the required voltage for V input?
3. How long do you need to power off for backup?

After confirming these three points, you can check the seats according to the content of the three points.
1. If the equipment is just ordinary computers, servers and other equipment, then choose the power of the UPS power supply according to 1.5 times the total power of these load equipment.

2. The size of the equipment power is your basis for estimating the power of the UPS power supply. Choose the UPS power supply according to the multiple mentioned in the first point.
Designed to the required voltage, that is the input voltage of your load equipment, there will definitely be 220VAC 380VAC 110VAC (there is less in mainland China).
3. The duration of power outage required determines whether your UPS power supply chooses a standard machine (built-in battery model) or an external battery model (long-term machine).


If you do not require long backup time for power outages, as long as the power outage protection is a few minutes and there is enough shutdown time, then choose the standard machine,
If you need a relatively long backup time, then choose a long-acting machine to connect with a large-capacity UPS power supply battery. The specific calculation can be based on this formula [(battery capacity * battery voltage * number of batteries) / load power] * power factor = load The duration is hours.
